Welcome To The
Brittany
Galaxy
Brittany Marasciulo-Rivera (or Brittany Amara) is an author, screenwriter, and actress with a passion for science fiction and fantasy that ventures beyond the reaches of space and time. When she isn’t writing about aliens, she’s writing about other dimensions, rifts in reality, and doomed dystopias. She’s spent most of her life exploring her own imagination, and is incredibly excited to share her adventures with others.
When she's not working on something new, Brittany can be found stargazing, collecting stuffed animals, and baking pumpkin bread. However, she spends most of her time daydreaming and writing those daydreams down.
Brittany graduated Summa Cum Laude from The State University of New York at New Paltz in 2021, and holds a degree in Digital Media Production, Creative Writing, and Theatre Arts with an Acting Concentration. She furthered her educational journey through a study abroad program at Kingston University London, as well as at New York Film Academy and Jacob Kruger Studios. In terms of acting, she has been trained by The Barrow Group, Stella Adler Studios, and many incredible mentors.
In 2019, Brittany had the opportunity to see one of her works - Willow's Compass - come to life as a feature-length sci-fi stageplay at SUNY New Paltz's Department of Theatre Arts. Her work in various genres and formats has been recognized by ScreenCraft, The New York International Screenplay Awards, The Big Apple Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, The Blood Horror Film Festival, The Rome Prisma Film Awards, and The New York Shorts International Film Festival.
