Brittany A. Marasciulo-Rivera, or Brittany Amara, is an author and an actress with a passion for science-fiction, fantasy, horror, and romance. When she isn’t writing about curious aliens, morally gray protagonists, rifts in reality, and alternate dimensions, she's searching for roles that'll make her feel like she's slipped into another world. She’s spent most of her life exploring her own imagination, and now, she is incredibly excited to share her adventures with others.

If she's not working on something new, Brittany can be found stargazing, crystal hunting, collecting stuffed animals, and baking pumpkin bread. However, she spends most of her time daydreaming and writing those daydreams down.

Brittany graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY New Paltz in 2021, and holds a degree in Digital Media Production, Creative Writing, and Theatre Arts. She furthered her education at Kingston University London, the New York Film Academy and Jacob Kruger Studios. She has also been trained by The Barrow Group, Stella Adler Studios, and many incredible mentors in movement, speech, and performance.

Brittany's work has been recognized by ScreenCraft, Coverfly, The New York International Screenplay Awards, The Big Apple Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, The Blood Horror Film Festival, and The New York Shorts International Film Festival. Currently, she's working on several fun projects and getting her Masters in Creative Writing at Queen's University Belfast!
